How To Convert Text To Audio Using Notepad

It is very easy to convert text to audio. Just type in the texts, and its audio version will be read out. Sounds interesting? Read our simple method to convert from text to audio by using just Notepad.

1. Open the Notepad program in windows. Now, type the following texts in the Notepad. Alternatively, you can copy and paste the scripts.

Dim message, sapi
message = InputBox (“Thanks for reading our tech tips”)
Set sapi = CreateObject(“sapi.spvoice”)
sapi.Speak message

2. Now the Notepad window should look like this.

3. Save the file, in a location that you will be comfortable to come back, as “some name” and sub-extension as “.vbs” (Visual Basic Script). Here, in our case we name the file as “TEST.vbs”

4. Navigate to the location where you have saved the “ *.vbs” file. In our case, we have saved the file “TEST.vbs” in D:/Test.

5. Run the file by just double clicking it. Type in the text you want the program to read out in audio format and click “OK”.
